Who are we? (London Pétanque Club)
A Community Amateur Sports Club where we aim to widen the participation of pétanque and offer an inclusive, affordable pathway to an active life for all
After the success of the event in 2019 and the disappointment of having to cancel the 2020 event due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are back bigger and better for 2023. This year’s two-day event takes place over the weekend of 3rd and 4th June against the fabulous backdrop of Crystal Palace Park, London.
With players ranging from UK club level to international champions, all are welcome to participate in one or both competitions.
The prestigious London Petanque Championship will be held on the Saturday (3rd June). A triples event set against the iconic backdrop of Crystal Palace Park will showcase some top-level play.
An adjacent events village will include food and drink stands, a fully licensed bar and picnic areas so feel free to invite your friends and family along too.
Sunday's doubles competition, the Mark Barlow Memorial, honours a well-loved London Petanque Club member who sadly passed away from Covid at the start of the pandemic. Why not make a weekend of it and enter both events.
